Life's Goin On...!!!

I was thinking of writing this post from two months but couldn't find time in loads of assignments amd coursework. So now's the time...
Manchester, a great city in UK, the "Makka" of Football, my favorite football club Manchester United's home ground, the land of discoveries/inventions. I have fallen in love at first sight with the city.
The day i arrived, 16th sept 2010, it was very cold here. Coming from India , hot temprature of 36.c, it was a drastic change for me. The temprature on that day was 9.c, here in Manchester. With lots of dreams and big things to do list i entered the city campus.
I have to do the best and be the best....

On that day i met some of the Indian guys at airport, one of them was from pune and accomodated in my university hostel building only. So a siegh of relief, someone from my place is also there. But now after knowing all other friends it feels evryone is from my country and my place.
I was overwhelmed with the weather, enivironment, buildings in the city. The university building was the best among all.
The first week, Manchester welcome week for international students, really a great opportunity to meet new students from almost 128 countries in the world. Full of Indians, chinese and European students. I haven't found anything like this in India. First week was really great, introduction to university, city tour, getting introduced to new friends in my hostel ; some of them from Pakistan, Spain, China, Chilie, Turkey and British also,Party at nights with free corona and pizza was really fun. I learned some of the buzz words of Manchester like
hello mate.. hello love.. cheers.. allright mate.. learned to say thanks and sorry at the end of almost evry sentence.
After that i didn't get a single minute to think of parties on weekdays. It was really a busy schedule in completing assignments. But still me and my friends used to watch a movie on every friday night. I have seen some of the great movies after coming here e.g. Forest Gump, A walk to remember, Charlie Wilson's War etc.. Now i am a fan of Tom hanks.Tom Hanks is really great.

The city environment when it's a derby between Manchester City and Manchester United, reminded me the days of India-Pakistan cricket matches. It's really a great fun here. Diwali fireworks at plattfield park, christmas light-on at albert square, navaratri festival at gandhi hall, wlcome parties at lal quila restaurant, gita bhavan mandir...are some of the nice moments i spent here.

But some has really said a great sentence
"You can take out an Indian from India but not India out of an Indian"

Missing all the festivals in India, My realatives, my friends and mostly "AAI". My college here always reminds me memories of my bachelors degree, the DX group, the fun that i had in my home town, roaming around with friends, njoying delicious food dishes at road corners. Now evrything is changed here...college, assignments, lab work, and shopping in "GBP,but really a great experience. Manchester is really great than i have thought of.Met great friends from different countries. One of them is teaching me spanish, one of them is teaching me Table Tennis (My Best Friend's Favorite game...now i can win...hope so...lol)....

With 8 more months to complete the PG, lots of things are to be done. i have to live the life at its best and make the hell out of it...I want to do all the things that i have dreamt of..Complete my To-Do list...and say Life's Goin on
